The Overwhelming Majority of Us Have Given Up On Governance
Most of us have little understanding for democratic responsibility. Many of us have little understanding of democracy. How do you differ between a democracy and a republic!
How does one learn to work our Constitution? How does one select ones representatives? How does one direct and support representatives? How do we all support our judiciary?
When we fail to govern ourselves, who will govern us! Why have we failed to support the beginning of instruction of the use of our Constitution in grade school? Once the elementary teaching of self governance-cooperation in our republic was begun in a great number of elementary schools.
We continue to give up our responsibility and right to govern ourselves together. We are allowing the gutting of our Constitution. What may we be doing to bring harm to ourselves, our children, our grandchildren? When we abdicate our right and responsibility to self govern together we become less use and have less power. Onec that was a move toward slavery. In the modern world slavery is becoming of less and less use.
What we fail to do now affects us now. What we do now also affects those who after us. What will become of most of our grandchildren who may find it difficult to be no better than a slave!
I hope that you will attempt to self govern together. For me, to govern in a democratic republic is a fine way to do so. You may find that self-governing together is useful and satisfying way of taking care of yourselves. With your knowledge of cooperation, it is not difficult to make a good beginning.
